Telehealth GP

About the role

You’ll work from anywhere in Australia, providing video consultations across a range of women’s health concerns, including perimenopause, endometriosis and general health and wellbeing.

Wake offers longer consultations, so you have the time to properly listen, explain and plan with your patients. Our consult model is built on research with women about what they need from their care. It’s designed to support continuity of care, so you see the same patients over time and work with them to achieve their health goals.

What you can expect:

  • Clinical autonomy: you’re trusted to use your clinical judgement, supported by a strong clinical governance framework.

  • Minimal admin: we take care of scheduling and are building automation into our workflows, so your time goes to patients, not paperwork.

  • Fully remote, flexible hours: choose sessions that work around your life and other commitments.

  • A voice in how we grow: you’ll work with the Wake team to shape and improve the experience for clinicians and patients, with new tools and features built alongside the people using them.

  • Training and development: you’ll receive training in communication and coaching skills developed from our patient research, including active listening, shared decision-making, motivational interviewing and navigating challenging conversations.

About you

We’re looking for exceptional Australian registered GPs who share our passion for women’s health and whole-body care. You see your patients as partners, you’re curious about getting to the root cause, and you value building relationships with patients over time. You’re comfortable consulting via telehealth, work well independently, and collaborate easily with a multidisciplinary team. Most of all, you’re open to learning.

  • Current, unconditional AHPRA registration

  • FRACGP or FACRRM

  • Able to obtain a provider number to facilitate pathology testing only

  • Current Professional Indemnity Insurance
